Classical Tuesday at Campus Martius - Supported by Honigman
Student ensembles from the Michigan Philharmonic Youth Orchestra will be performing from noon – 2:00pm at Campus Martius Park in downtown Detroit on Tuesday, July 11. These student performances are part of CLASSICAL Tuesdays sponsored by WRCJ 90.9 FM and Campus Martius for audiences to enjoy great music while enjoying the all the amenities the park has to offer.
The Michigan Philharmonic Youth Orchestra – under the umbrella of the Michigan Philharmonic – is for students ages 8-18 and includes 5 ensembles – two levels of strings, a flute choir , a wind ensemble and the full youth symphony under the direction of Hektor Qyteti and Joanna Goldstein.
